HOlly’s CHOCOLATE Guiness Fudge recipe
This makes a large batch, it's super easy and you can spike it with other flavours!
Ingredients
454g of good dark chocolate
1 tin of condensed milk
1 can of Guinness
1 tablespoon of malt extract (you can leave this out if you want!)
Method
Start by melting your chocolate in a bowl over boiling water.
In the meantime, pour your whole can of delicious Guinness in a pan and start reducing, we need to reduce this guy down to a tablespoon - this is gonna add a layer of beery bitterness in such a great way.
Once that's done take off heat. incorporate all your ingredients into the chocolate, stir it all in, the texture will change quite quickly so work fast.
Pour into a shallow squared-off tray lined with cling film. Use a marisse/spatula aka 'the money maker' to get all the chocolate mix into the tray, slide her in the fridge, this will set in 4 hours.
After 4 hours take it out the fridge, flip onto a board and cut into 1cm square cubes!
Garnish with maldon and eat!
