It’s been a hot minute

So the second half of 2021 was a bit of a whirlwind for so many of us in hospitality. Once it started it REALLY started and it was super INTENSE. In the events and catering world I liken it to a hosepipe being stamped on and when everyone (who wasn’t working at 10 Downing Street!) got back they did it BIG TIME!

I took on a job opening the kitchen at a great new cafe. Then I went back to running my catering company Butch Salads and by early September we were in FULL SWING. (And I got a civil partnership in the midst of it all!)

So all that made it pretty difficult to squeeze in QFAB. I really missed the time I had been afforded at the beginning of the year to connect with and celebrate this community.

This project was one of my favourite things last year and the response from all of you guys was amazing. Not to mention the online and real life friends that have been made as a result. Plus the feedback I got was you enjoyed it too, right?

So I suppose I am trying to say I’M COMING BACK! I’m excited to be reconnecting with you all. DM if you have any ideas of stuff you might like to see here or just say HEY!

Apologies to anyone I interviewed or spoke to about doing something with QFAB last year and went quiet on when things got a bit hectic. I’ll be in touch!
